The Story of Papas

My name is Papas & I am a two-year-old Chihuahua mix! While the first half my life is a bit of a mystery to my humans, they do know that I was found on the streets of East Los Angeles. When I was found I had oil stains on my fur and an abrasion on my tiny little head. Ouch! Looks like I was living under a car.

I was taken from the streets to a shelter in LA and then scooped up by The Dog Cafe LA where I lived from Aug 2018 to Dec 16th, 2018. On Dec 16th my future parents came and picked me up to begin a holiday foster, they were so excited and I was a little nervous. About three hours into my foster my parents knew that I would not be returning to The Dog Cafe but would stay with them furever.

I was officially adopted on January 9th, 2019 and I am loving my new life. We have traveled all over California from the beaches to the big cities and I get to go to work with my Mom every day. My mom says she didn't realize that there was a hole in her heart until I filled it. We are now living happily ever after in Echo Park and I even have two rescue cat siblings that I love. Sometimes the universe brings families together!
